Try updating to the Official firmware. Then get Geohot's CFW and put it in you "UPDATE" folder. Then update it and you should see it. :rolleyes:

i try it, but when i'm going to install the oficiall but i can't, it says that can't found a available patch....

maybe back up your ps3 then format and then try to install the cfw again..

also did you get from a reputable source the firmware? if not maybe its a fake

make sure your usb has the folders PS3 > UPDATE > PS3UPDAT.PUP (geohots jb renamed)
all caps like u see here.

Put it into recovery mode by turning the ps3 off normally. After that hold the power button until it turns itself off, then hold until you hear two simultaneous beeps, let go of the power button and connect your controller. go to update ps3 or whatever and it should recognize the official firmware.
