WORKING BACKUP:
Sure wht i did was download a PSN Demo off of the PS Store of MW2 Cliffhanger demo. i have black box ftp nd awesome file manager installed u need either one to get this to work. i also have a legit copy of mw2 backed up u cn c all proof in video whn uploaded. wht i did was find the demo folder of mw2 in the dev_hdd0/game/ folder. my folder was NPU90314 idk if everyones would b da same. well in that folder there is a USRDIR folder with cliffhanger.ff, eboot.bin nd other files in there. in my mw2 backup i have the same stuff in its USRDIR folder(\BLUS30377\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\).copy everything BUT the EBOOT.BIN from ur backed up mw2 to the mw2 demo folder(dev_hdd0/game/"mw2 demo"/USRDIR/) in the ps3. overwrite everything nd run demo from xmb nd it will run da full version of da game. only upsets r dat u cnt play anything in the multiplayer menu or specops online. wht u cn play is da spec ops single or splitscreen, da full single player game. video will b cuming very very soon please b patient nd +rep. try it out nd add me

yes in theory it should work. i will try another game like cod:waw to c if it wrks bcuz i already hav it backed up. it may take sum time but i will let u kno. please try it ur self nd c i insist.

He said what he did in the first post. Just download the MW2 demo and then replace the files from your backed up MW2 full game, and the full game should run off of the XMB when you click on the MW2 demo. This is what I understood from his post.

He should've used a different game instead of a game he already has copied


He probably ****ed up and screwed up the legit copy of MW2

Sooooo this only means if you have a jalbroken 3.55 PS3 and you have to have a demo to even do it? It's cool I guess if you have demo's for all the games your going to attempt this on but thats not a large amount of games. Nice try tho. Cred for pushing forward with your noob-ness

if u would stop trying to shoot me down nd read it, it tells u everything u need. there r no special files u need. everything u need is already out there. da main things u need r ftp server or file manager on ps3 nd a backup of mw2 nd download da demo off of the playstation store dats it so so get off my bak nd actually read da whole thread.
