And I forgot to back up the original files, so now they're lost.

I doubt it has anything to do with the name, as i can still use mw2 and my file manager is called modern warfare 2.

I really don't understand why anybody would do anything to their PS3 without understanding what it is that they're doing...

I just realized that it's the EBOOT.BIN and t5_ps3f.self files that I have that caused it, and I lost the originals.
Can you send me them? (BLUS30591)

go on ps3 go to game data utility delete the black ops game data then start black ops download update and should be fine remember to backup when your messing with files
