I live in the US. What exactly do I after installing the .pkg? All that happens when I open the MW2 .pkg is a black screen. Any solutions?

I am not sure I understand the point of running backups of games that you own when the disk is working. What is the point?

legal:if your disc breaks, or if you are lazy at switching disks.
illegal: if you want to borrow or rent a game and back it up on your system so you can play without the disk.

it works its simple look at the package file it should say UP0001-BLES00683_00-0000000000000000.pkg the BLES00683 is the name of the folder where the files r installed(hdd0\game\BLES00683). copy all the files except the eboot.bin from mw2 backup in this folder~~~>(PS3_Game\USRDIR\)to the folderwhere he package installed here~~~~>(\hdd0\game\BLES00683\USRDIR\). dat should b simple enough.

how to use ps3 patch blocker:
1) run the program
2) go to network settings on ps3
3) click start on the program
4) setup ps3 network like u normaly would but whn u run into proxy server select use. copy the proxy and port from the ps3 patch blocker in the ip adress nd port slots on the ps3.
5) all set no need to test da connection jst exit nd it will sign u in automatically. now whn u start da game the update window will not pop up nd will not sign u off. works on newest mw2 patch.

no, it prompts you for the 1.11. If you press O and skip it then go to the multiplayer, it boots you back to XMB.
