After i made the thread i had several pm's and replies asking me what method i was using to perform this, so im making this simple easy tut for everyone. PLEASE DONT FLAME OR -REP ME if this has already been posted!

First off a few sytem requirements and tools you will need.

**THIS TUTORIAL IS DONE WITH A mw2 BLUS30377 DISK SO THAT WILL BE THE BACKUP FILENAME OF Mw2 REFERRED TO LATER IN THIS TUT**

**THE EBOOT PATCH IS BLES BUT WORKS ON US AND EU BACKUPS**

Requirements:
GEO's 3.55-jb FW
Multiman manager (or other open manger)
Awesome File Manager
Mw2 Patched Eboot: You must login or register to view this content.


Tutorial:
1. Ok FIRST insert the mw2 disk.

2. Next press O and copy the game to your HDD.

3. Once the backup completes, install the mw2 eboot .pkg i posted above in the requirements.

4. Open up the awesome file manager, once loaded press SELECT immediately to activate advanced mode. (screen should turn red)

5. Next, on the LEFT side navigate to dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLUS30377/PS3_GAME/USERID

6. Now press RIGHT on your D-pad and then navigate to dev_hdd0_/game/BLES00683/USERID

7. Now press left on your dpad and highlight use R2 to MOVE every file EXCEPT the EBOOT.BIN folder over to dev_hdd0_/game/BLES00683/USERID

8.Once complete hold the ps button and navigate to the games section, there should be a mw2 title there and can be played OFFLINE without the disk.

** IF you try to load this game online you WILL be prompted for the 1.11 update, do not update or your game WILL be removed. Even if you use a patch blocker, once you click multiplayer it boots you back to the XMB. If anyone finds a fix for this PLEASE let me know!**

*UPDATE*: Ive been able to get on a LAN match and have a second ps3 connect to me while online and play. Also, it is possible to add and use a modded patch with the working backup of mw2 as well.

to make it work online you would have to edit the default_mp.self in the backup to read the patch_mp.ff and the map packs if u want

When i press R2 and Start it wouldnt let me move the default_mp.self or the default.self THOSE WERE THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDNT LET ME MOVE OTHERS DID

This sounds awesome.. Too bad you can't go online with it yet :/
