1-if u go into your ftp server

2-go to dev_hdd0

3-go to game

4-go a game u have a map pack of

5-go to the usdir of game

6-u will see map pack 1 and 2 w.e

7 well if u delete the patch then redownload patch u and go back to the map pack location u notice it will be gone so what if i some one were to take it out put it as download then another person put it in that exact spot they should have that map pack for free

or you could just copy the files....but that would be stealing.....and stealing is for people who fail at life.

doesn't work like that, needs to be activated by the purchasers psn account, which can be hacked as of now. And no clue what you really meant there in step 7..

This would work for Warhawk actually. The map packs are stored as booster*(p).psarc or booster*(p).edat. * representing the map pack number (1, 2, or 3) and p representing the patch for it. (There have been 4 patches). So yes, in theory, my method would work.

hmm what if u copied the files correct but used a patch blocker or proxy while using ftp? Would it work?

maybe there is a way on mw2 to get map pack working
when you rename or delete defualt_mp.self
the maps well come ..
but when you start the game with the map selected it will get an error
i think that error will be : (could not find zone mp_crash.ff)
if we put the right files like :
mp_crash.ff
mp_crash_load.ff
and the map .pak file
maybe it will work ..
