With geohots jailberak you can use any type of external storage device so yes. I dont have an ipod nano so I dont know for sure.
But there is a setting in itunes that lets you use your device as storage.

As Mastap said turn the iPod into a storage device, then install the CFW.

After you have the CFW all you need is an FTP/File Manager
