How to change the patch on Awsome file manager

Put patches to usb, plug usb in the second usb port, start up file manager, on the left side scroll down to dev_hdd0 press x on it, then scroll down to game and press x on it the click the bles code that is the same on your mw2 disc (mines bles00683) press x on it, the press x on USRDIR the scroll down to patch_mp.ff and keep it highlighted, press right on the dpad to take you to the right side and go down to dev_usb000 click on it and find your patch_mp.ff highlight it then press circle then start. This should copy it to your hdd and should change the patch for you.

Once upon a time...

I did the same and it come with the patch_mp or whatever and i didnt want that patch so i downloaded another one and put it with it (from right to left without deleting the original) then it didnt work so i deleted the original patch and it still didnt work. I restored my ps3 n im going to try it again. what did i do wrong? how do i put different patches on there?
