(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Let's say I have my PS3 on CFW 3.55 and downloaded a game for the PS3 from the internet. Is it possible to put the downloaded game directly on the PS3, withou using a USB stick?

I think that if you use a FTP server you will be able to copy almost anything onto your ps3 , But I am not sure.

It's completely possible using an FTP server. If you set up a connection between your computer and the ps3, it's actually really simple. You can even leave your usb in your ps3 and just add files to it from your computer using the FTP server.

My PS3 and my computer are both connected to an internet box (don't know the exact word), would that work?

A router? Yes, that would work. I use Smart FTP on my PC and Blackbox FTP on my ps3. You can connect to the ps3 by entering in the address shown on Blackbox.

That gets me alot further..

I wanna try it out but i'm a bit scared of getting my account or console banned :S

If they console ban you, you might as well sue them because thats pretty much stealing what you own. This is 100% legal and the only way they can justify banning you is if you are hacking online or playing pirated games, and not backups. I'm not sure if they can ban you for playing backups of games you bought. (like I have been trying to do... with no success)
