so i was looking at a thread showing you how to put your ps3 on 3.55 CFW and i needed the custom download which i downloaded and when i followed what the guy did and plugged my usb into my ps3 and went to settings and went to storage media update it didnt find any of the data. On your storage media, put the CFW in the following folders: PS3>UPDATE>(update file)

download jb then put it in your usb by making a folder named PS3 then in that folder make one called UPDATE then in there put the jb then go into ps3 and update via storage device.

i did that with folders but can u give me a link with he file with the jailbreak??

download the jailbreak from geohot.com and once you have downloaded it open it in winRaR and on the inside their should be a file PS3UPDAT.PUP drag that file onto your desktop then open up your USB.
Once your on the root of your USB make a folder called PS3. Double click on the new PS3 folder and within that folder make a folder call UPDATE. Double click on the update folder and drag the PS3UPDAT>PUP file on your desktop into that UPDATE file. Once you have done this go onto your ps3 plug in usb and go to system update. If you followed these steps you should be able to update to CFW.
