(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok guys so after my first eboot thread i had TONS of people asking for an eboot .pkg in which a backed up version of mw2 would work ONLINE. So i decided to make a simple little tutorial on the fix.

PLEASE, no flaming, i know i seen a thread on this already but it was plain, and very very easily misunderstood. Claps

So after that being said, "the tut" Outie

Tutorial:


*FIRST!* Before you do ANYTHING!-- Make a MW2_GAME Folder in the dev_hhd0/ - THEN put your backed up MW2 USRDIR to dev_hdd0/MW2_GAME/USRDIR


NEXT...
Download these two files...




Now... follow these steps CAREFULLY!



  • 1.Move BOTH files to the root of a USB flash.

  • 2.First install the 1.00 .pkg

  • 3.Next, start up the .pkg you installed, when it ask's you to update to 1.11, click "Ok" and install the update.

  • 4.Now if done correctly, when you return from the update your 1.11 .pkg mw2 icon should be GONE.

  • 5.Now, Install the 1.11 .pkg

  • 6.Restart your playstation 3, now your mw2 back up is in the xmb and works ONLINE!

Error… Cat invasion!
Guys I have it working on bles00683 with out a cd in the drive anyway I have a couple of questions Smile

1: You can invite or join peoples invites! any fix for this as that is very annoying!
2: It says were playing modern warfare 2 1.11 by ___, does this mean we will get banned because its easy to tell?!

Extremely simple. Sounds harder than it is. With FTP on your computer, go to dev_hdd0. When you are right in there, without being in another folder, so not inside game or anything, make a new folder there called MW2_GAME. Then delete the eboot.bin out of your MW2 backup's USRDIR folder and then move that folder into the MW2_GAME folder you just created.

Wehenever i try to install the .pkg files it gives me an error 80029564 the data isnt corrupted cause ive redled many times so pease help im using waninkokos cfw 3.55 btw

Yes i would also like to see a fix for this, you can only receive invite to and join "Private Matches"

Bit slow :P, haha na joking but to be honest with you, if I was you I would stop using the bypass straight away and just wait til it cools down, sony are banning now :|

And by the way there is a fix for this now, you use multiman 1.15.__ (not 1.16.00 that is worst!)

and you use select + start and it should fix it (if you have a external hdd)

I get it working with out an external harddrive but I actually dont know how I did it, I was just mucking around and it worked, I couldnt do it for my friend though coz I couldnt remember what I did, sorry :(

I just want to be able to invite friends using the PKG, dont need bypass
