Signing: Fooling PS3 so that it thinks that we have legit Sony-Made Files(.pkgs)
Why?: PS3 only takes Sony-Made files(.pkgs)

.pkgs: Packages that you use sign and pack to install on Custom Firmware

Packing: Putting all of a software's(for ps3) into a .pkg. Then you sign it

Custom Firmware: Modified firmware usually for hacking purposes.

Bricking: Messing up the PS3 so that it doesn't work
