(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I saw my friend in a challenge lobby he made and i asked him how to make one, and he told me i needed to jailbreak my ps3 first. So i went to the site he told me to go on to get the jailbreak(The site was RedDotCity.com.) So after that i plugged in my flash drive to my ps3 and tried the jailbreak. After i turned my ps3 on after the jailbreak, there was nothing showing up in my game section of the main menu, Everything was showing up in like the Friends, Network, Pictures, and Music section, but nothing in my game section. So basically i cant play any of my games anymore. I tried formatting my ps3, but that didn't work, and i tried resetting it to, and that also didn't work. So i need BIG HELP, so if anyone knows what to do, PLEASE GIVE ME AN ANSWER!!!!

You have to update to the same version.
You have to download the update file from You must login or register to view this content.
When you download the file follow the tutorial from the page you download the update of how to locate in the correct form the update file.
Then you have to put the PS3 in "Safe Mode" You must login or register to view this content. is the tutorial of how to put the PS3 in "Safe Mode".
And when you are in "Safe Mode" plug the USB (pendrive,etc) with the update file and select the option System Update and make all that say in the screen.

Note:The "jailbreak" are from geohot.com not from RedDotCity.com, so you downloaded another thing.But now you can't download the jailbreak from geohot.com, because he removed the file,because Sony demanded it.

Ok, either do this. go to official sony website and get the 3.55 firmware and you should be back to normal.

Bro, you failed hard @ the NOTE:...the link is NOT removed, you may download it from HERE You must login or register to view this content. you're welcome, and good luck with your jailbreak.

Instructions; DL that file. Then you want to put on your USB a folder called PS3 inside that make a folder called UPDATE (note all caps). Also inside that you want to put the file you downloaded from geohot.com. Now you can go to your PS3 and plug in your USB and then go to System Update > Update via Storage. When it finds it it'll have 3.55 and at the end it'll have -jb. If that comes up you're set, then you just want to update. Viola, a jailbroken PS3. All yours. No hassle.
