Post: How do u install backups?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok well i have GTA4 downloaded to my HDD and I have the .pkg file to install and when i install it and click on the icon on the XMB menu it doesn't do anything. Can someone please help me or link me to a tutorial on how to do it. I will +rep the people that help. Thanks

I think you have to place the .pkg onto the root of your USB then install it. I'm not too good with the back ups but I try my best Smile.

yeah i do that, then i need to copy something to somewhere else but thats where i get lost at. :jim:

Link me to the tutorial you're following and tell me the step you're stuck on. I'll try to clarify it as much as possible.

You need to copy all the files from the game you have backed up into the folder where you have installed the .pkg (should be in a folder something like dev_hdd0-game-[or whatever the game code is] e.g BLUS01031 yours will be different for GTA4 and the folder should only be a few MB)

Note don't replace any files that are in the .pkg folder just copy the ones that aren't already there

if you used multiman to backup the game, the game would be located under dev_hdd0-GAMES-
