You can install it. But thats about it. Beta need to have a owner to work I tried both LBP2 and Killzone 3. Both wont let you launch the game. I think theres a patch for killzone 3 beta eboot.bin somwhere i cant remember where though.

You could, but you would need to unpack and repack the .pkg as a Free content type. That will allow it to be played on any account, and remove the thing where it has to be on the owners account.
