Yes you can. Get Sony's official 3.55 PUP off their website and put it in PS3/UPDATE in your USB. Make sure your PS3 is turned off then hold the power button until it turns on and then shuts down again. Once you have done that, hold the power button again until you hear a beep followed by another 2 beeps then release the power button. You will boot into the recovery menu and follow the on-screen instructions. Go to system update and do what it tells you to do.
