we used this tool to interupt the downloads from PS store/Updates, and put the .pkg on our computer... anyone remember ?

Listen guys, geohot has said many times that he tried to make sure that piracy was going to be hard using his method, he also said the way we would pirate games last time wouldn't work, so this is going to be very hard. The amount of work you put towards this could be put to an actual job where you could make enough money just to buy it and keep the economy stable instead of hurting the economy by pirating games.

Or anybody could follow fail0verflows method they released to access to the keys, we need a dev that likes piracy :p

But if you read the coding in geohots make_npdrm_self it says sony don't blacklist this key. This could be taken as a warning to sony that if they do he will just release the tool to decrypt them and this will probably happen too xD

Good sir, your method wont work... activating the pkg to be used on your own PS3 needs keys that only geohot and sony has... If he had released those keys or tools, everyone would have put the pkgs on a host site and just download them onto their ps3 off the webbrowser without jailbreaking or cfw or any of that... but he didnt want that to happen because it would lead to piracy.

Question is though if he loses this court case will he retaliate and just give it to us. Or if he wins he knows for a fact he can never be suied again by sony and for them putting him through all that hassle he will just give it.
