Post: how to get dead rising 2 backup working

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ive seen a few threads on here with people having trouble getting dead rising 2 to work... all you have to do is, install the .pkg, copy all the data over except the original eboot, then in ftp server drag the param.sfo onto your desktop, edit with PS3SFOEdit change it from DG-disk game to GD-game data, save, then drag param.sfo back to were u got it, copy and replace, run it from xbm, cancel the update then play your game:bro:

How do you run dead rising 2 from backed up game? I want to be able to play online also.

I LOVE YOU! i've been wanting to find out why ive been getting this Corrupted Data Error. & you just upload this small .sfo and BAM its working I :wub:

ok so look i have the original game, and i go to multiman and back it up, mine is (blus30349) will it till have the same outcome if im using bles00948? or do i need the game with the bles00948 for this to work? also when i go through the shit i go to hdd0_GAMES/Blus30439/USRDIR do i copy the directory of the backed up USRDIR to my USRDIR in the bles00948? or what?

What in the world happened? I load it up to the main menu cause I followed your steps correctly everything worked fine till i got off the game. to do something else i go back to my xmb to get on the game again and its gone?

The game is still in my PS3 cause i got on FTP and the BLES00948 folder is still there and fine. Why would the game dissapear from my XMB?

i never installed the update it just happens when i start it from XMB
