can anybody tell me what to do please??
im not looking to downgrade it but restore it to the official firmware (OFW)

Not sure why you would do this because you won't get banned, but hey, who am I to say?
Go You must login or register to view this content. and download the file and unrar it (red download) and put the PS3UPDAT.PUP in /PS3/UPDATE/ on your usb drive. It's basically doing the same thing you did to JB it to revert back to OFW.

just download the 3.55 official frimware on the playstation site and put it on ur usb and update

but before delete the ftp by pressing triangle and delete

the install package files doesnt have a delete option, neither does the ftp package inside it though...
