I'm trying to help a friend get the CFW working, however, when we put a pkg on a flash drive and put it into the PS3, nothing shows up.

Any help?

Try reformatting your USB device

It can't be in any folder.
Not in a folder?: Reformat your USB device to FAT32
That didn't work?: Try a different usb device.
That didn't work?: Reinstall CFW

is it in the root?

mine did the same thing and i reformatted my usb someone help
