EDIT: If anyone can unpackage the mw2 1.11.pkg file, edit the PARAM.SFO and change the name back to Modern Warfare 2(r) 2, repackage it and upload it someone I would pay then 50k vbux and rep.

You can name the package whatever you want, when you download it it's the original name. For example, earlier today I downloaded a pkg called U0000012312.pkg. When I installed it it turns into PSID Changer.

It wouldn't matter anyway, you cannot change the name of a retail game. (only demos)

I know i can change the name of the package, but when i install it and play it it shows me as playing modern warfare(r) 2 1.11 by rubiikz and i want it to only show modern warfare(r) 2 like the actual game.

How do you know it says that? Did a friend tell you?

Thats the one i have currently.

Well there is really no other eboot's than that to the best of my knowledge.

Some things to note:

• A game's name does not have anything to do with the patch
  
  
• A game's name is stored on the PARAM.SFO
  

And you cannot change the name of a retail game, in this case MW2.

well that rubiikz guy has somehow, I think he modded the 1.11 pkg.
