My question is if my main account on my slim is used for normal gaming and I use a seperate login for my hacked ps3, would they ban the username itself from PSN or do they ban the IP address (therefore stopping me going online on my other PS3 also)

I hope this makes sense to someone and they can answer my question.

im pretty sure it would be just a console ban on that ps3 because then u could take it elsewhere and play it

I have gone ahead and added the 3.55 CFW Kmea to my other PS3 and have started a new PSn account on that PS3 so that my main account doesnt get banned. I wanted to know if I earn trophies on this other account, can I sync them to my main account and still not get banned?

It depends on what hack you have done. If they do decide to ban for CFW it will more than likely be a console ban but if you did the Bo hack it is just a couple hour ban from the Black Ops servers. So yeah it will just depend but no hack should get your whole IP banned.

I have only done CFW but I just wondered if syncing the trophies from the ps3 with cfw on a dummy account with my main account would get my unmodded main account banned?
