(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok i have installed the newly released Waninkoko FW and here are my results:

PS3 INSTALLED ON: SLIM 120GB (CECH-2103A)
FIRMWARE INSTALLED ON: 3.55 GEOHOT
NEW FIRMWARE INSTALLATION: SUCCESS
NEW FEATURES: APP_HOME/PS3_GAME FOLDER
BACKUP MANAGER STATUS: WORKING
ANY SIGN OF BRICK: NONE

I think everyone who installs this firmware should just post saying:
1. type of ps3
2. what firmware they installed on
3. success or not

**UPDATE ~~ Ok the way i currently backing up games is like this:
~ Backup using MultiMAN because its fast
~ Load backed up games using Open manager
~ Open manager requires you to have a disk in the drive to load the game

nope i installed straight over geohotz, and click this link PS3 CFW/MFW 3.55 Patched PUP

better of looking on torrent sites for them, that ps3iso is slow as ****

Yea games from there are HUGE, i have prince of persia and black ops back up from there. Ill let you guys know if they work.

Hi could you confirm if i need a disk in when booting games from the hard drive using backup manager. I have been offered a ps3 for £50 but bluray dont work. Thanksed ur post in advanceHappy

its the point of the backup manager so you dont need disks, the only downside is youll have to download games insted of backing them up of the disk... get me?

I have a 250gb Slim and SUCCESS! I installed it over OFW 3.55, i installed OFW in recovery and also installed waninkoko's in recovery and all came out well, ive seen that alot of the 120gb and the 250gb are coming out successful, DONT TRY ON FATS ive seen ALOT of comments of them bricking....

Backing Up Black Ops now Happy!
