yep, install whatever PKGs you want before updating to this FW

wouldnt even risk it on a PHAT ps3

You must login or register to view this content. install that, its signed for this firmware, copy the game, make sure u have a game in the drive tho, any game, then just click what game you want to play and it will load for you Smile

Note that just because your ps3 nand is 16 mb, it doesn't mean it won't brick. That rule barely applies to the phat ones. All slims are 16mb nand :carling:

Just so you know... I haven't flashed my firmware to Waninkoko's CFW. I will stick with Egohot at least until its proven at more than 90% that the firmware will not Brick my PS3 Slim i bought 2 months ago..

To those with the problem regarding the installation of .PKG's...

AFTER you install your Waninkoko's CFW SUCCESSFULLY, go back to Egohot's firmware (i think using Dev Mode... where you hold the buttons on the PS3 to turn it off etc etc.....)

I wouldnt trust myself on following the instruction to get back to Egohot's CFW even though i picked this up from lots of different sources (PSGroove, PSX-Scene etc). Do some research on this.
