Ive emailed Sony asking if u could get banned for installing an Custom Firmware and eventually do a game backup on a game you already purchased! The answer is translated with Google Translate from Swedish to English!

hmm evan if they acualy "start banning people" they will be banning so many people they will acualy loose money because we buy games just to play online no one realy plays campain so they souldnt wel i hope not :dance:

You do know by law you are allowed to have a PHYSICAL backup of any DVD, CD, and BluRay you OWN with no legal action. I do not know how this works as far as Digital media. But, Ive always had both a physical and a digital.

according to sony's legal rights you have the right to make 1 legal copy of a game as long as you still have the original

When u translate it directly with google earth it is like u say. But in my language it's not.
