So if your model isn't compatible with the waninkoko CFW for backups or you simply don't want to risk a brick you may be interested in the new, safer Wutangrza CFW which does not brick any model of PS3 so far. I have tested it on my model CECHG- and it works fine. No backup manager yet but expect one soon, says Greg from Dashhacks. The guy who made multiMAN is on it right now. Supports LV1/LV2 PEEK/POKE (useful for developers). Read the full article at:
This has been posted many times but still no one has told me if the geohott cfw can be installed back over this one or not. I've read several post saying it can but I don't wanna chance it just yet I also was wondering the install process for this is to delete pkgs installed via geohotts then reinstall ofw then install wutangrza's? And if its identical to the ofw is there no pkg installer? How does that work when the program does come out how will you install? Any vid links to this working or pics of the menus would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
NM answered own question when read page appreciated... still might wait abit though for a couple more reports to come in.
Yeah it can be actually thats what it says do in the tutorial... not gonna call you a dipshit though thats rude... unless of course your refering to the fact that I asked if the process was to delete pkg programs installed from geohott's which its pointless not too if the won't run as its a waste hard drive space and could possibly be detected on ofw once reinstalled. And not mention as others above said it looks just like the ofw then that would indicate also that there isn't a pkg installer which would also mean no pkg's could be installed... can't spell it clearer than that and thanks for answering my question...
