Yes you can mate.
But you need to record the games directly to the external hard drive. Not downloaded ones if you get what I mean.

Thanks

You dont have to create any folder, put the game you downloaded (the folder should be called like bles____) on to an external hdd, plug it into your ps3.

Go to Awesome file manager, press select so the screen goes red then on the left side go to USB0001 or something similar, on the right side go to HDD0 and then either GAMES or GAMEZ or something similar, but its definetly not game.

Then go back to the left side and press O to copy over to the right side and then press start, then open up the backup manager and it should be there Smile

Well. I am still testing, but one I downloaded last night wouldn't work.
Also, when I backed up to the internal hard drive on ps3 they worked fine.
I have since purchased an external one and transferred the ones I had backed up on the internal one to the external one and they wouldn't load either, so I had to back up the games on to the external one again and it worked.

So I don't know if it's something the back up manager does when having up the games to sign them or what.

wtf. you can copy games without problems using backup managers like multiman or rogero or whatever u wish to use.

Didn't figure out yet how to split big files properly so backup launchers would copy them too and piece em together again afterwards, so I transfer big files via ftp at the time.

And what is it with "you cannot play downloaded games"? I don't really get the point?

Bro, where the **** did you get that from? We're talking about moving games from external to internal hard drive.

So then it doesn't work :dunce:
