There's programs out there that make it simple, and Sony's security is set up so that you can't play backups like the wii.

all you need is abit of common sense, all the programs do it for you now

Why not just buy jailbreak USB for a measly 20 quid and have backups running in seconds? For 20 quid you could have a thing that connects to your USB and that's it. Fully updatable and everything btw.

2. Run backup games
3. Cost? Free.

From what I've read, jailbreak USB updates to stop Sony in their tracks. I'm buying it online tomorrow. I'll let you know if it is any good, I'll post a vid of it in action if it is. Either that or PS3 break.
