Post: cfw update loop brick oe glitch or ..yea

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i tried to update with cfw and it loads about to 78% or so and it cancels and says it will restart update and gives me an error code and restarts the update and the same thing happens aging and aging...i tried putting in a different hard drive but it goes blank i put the original one back in wit the update and it dose the update loop aging to 78% or around there and gives me a error and it tells me to contact sony....did i just brink the ps3 by a update loop? i cant get off it...some 1 plz help it would be nice..i dnt post stuff up unless i really need to...thx :jim:

Firstly, what CFW is it?

And secondly should probably re-download the OFW and if installing a different CFW while on CFW update to official 3.55 before installing.

This happened to my old 40gb it overheated during update only way to repair is to send it to sony.I tried some of the fixes none of em worked for me hopefully will for you.

in all that i had read all problems had to do wit a bluray driver. The ps3 i was trying to update ha the bluray driver remove because it was defective....ama reinstall the driver to see what happens and thx xCamoLegend i believe this helped me lots :pedo:
