I have tried Little Big Planet and MW2 on MultiMan, Gaia Manager, and Rogero Manager and after selecting the game it seems like it's working (it goes back to the XMB and shows the games as a disk.) But when I select */app_home/PS3_GAME or the disk it boots to a black screen and freezes. I have to turn off my PS3 from the back to unfreeze it. Before you ask, yes, I ran lv2.pkg first. Anybody know what's going wrong? .......edit got it all working now loooooool thx god

I've been having the same issues with the games I've tried (MW2, Just Cause 2 and Tomb Raider Underworld) I can get Just Cause 2 running but that's it.

From what I've gathered games that are ftp'd (i.e. downloaded) are very likely not to work. I tried ripping one of my games from the disc (3D Dot Heroes) and it works perfectly.

So yeah, it seems you need to rip the games if you want a 100% success rate.

You have to run this program each time on boot.

To be able to play backups.

It patches level 2.

yep i do that every time still dont work .i backup the game and it shows up on drive not in xmb and will not load

MW2 do's not work via rippin it i dont no if there is a fix for this

Have you tried putting a bd-disc in and setting it to BD-disc required? That's how I got JC2 working.

I've currently got uncharted in and set it to blu ray required but it doesn't necessarily have to be the game you backed up cause I got uncharted 1 in and im playing PROTOTYPE just fine

You do have to have a br disc in though but apparently it doesn't matter which one as I said cause I've been running 3 backups off of uncharted 1 and when you load lv2 patcher and go back to multiman be sure to hit no then where the game disc is on the xmb it should be the game you loaded and not necessarily the one in the tray.

Make sure you have an official sony disk in the drive.
