1) all homebrew apps like ftp etc will be blocked, it was said that geohot added a note in the cfw to sony about not blocking and the codes used!

2) Can sony change the keys via fw update? as maybe they could change the keys an emulate the old keys for disk games only meaning sony has new keys an we still can run old games! is this possible?

3) Sony could ban some ps3 users on cfw and make a point of it to scare ppl from useing it on next update?

4) Sony classes PS3 as a right off and concentraits on ps4? no more updates for PS3?

i stress this is just what i think and none of it is proven..

also would it not be possible to make a cfw now for v4.00 that way if sony brings out say 3.60 update and eveything is blocked maybe ppl can just use the cfw6.00 to get online without updatein to ofw! just a thought!

They cant get us if we do the update on USB and get offline. Delete jailbreak. I think they will autoban us if we do without USB Update.

the ps4 will be a long long time away, sony are still in debt with the ps3, all i can see happening is psn bans, cant see console bans ass the cfw isnt illegal to have, its the backing up ect that illegal

yh sounds possible but theres prob like 1 million users on cfw, would they realy want to lose 1 million customers by banning them? but dont u think they will want to try to stop all the cfw? i mean whats the point in them bringing out new updates if they no there just going to be stripped, modded, packed and re relesed as new cfw, they must have a backup plan for this sort of thing? it was only a matter of time

if you dont update though you wont be able to go online, bypassing only works for a few days after the update comes out, offline is so boaring even with cfw, i had jailbreak 3.41 and only ever used it to transfer modded patches i didnt even use backup loader on it as offline an solo is boaring lol
ps, also why do u think they wont block homebrew if its possible? surely they want to pi%% us off somehow?

well if they do ban this console ill use this 1 ps3 for back up games, and get another 1 in time to play online, i only play black ops coz its all my m8s play, not assd either way myself like but.... i cant c what theyre goin to do tho, we got the keys sooo theres only 1 thing to say, there ****ed, ive read people are even working on assignin new mac keys to unban consoles

ps3 is not releasing any updates till the geohot court case is done. thats what i think. so stop asking these questions. whatever happens, happens. if we get banned, take responsability and accept it. if we can still hack, awesome. but just stop with the threads about this topic.

Update servers to read sfo, game folders.. anything unknown will get banned from psn.
