I was hosting mw2 lobbies perfectly fine for a couple of days but when I went to get on last night and do a lobby for my friend, everytime I went to start match in either a private match or split screen match, the game freezes. I cant hit any buttons besides the PS button and my ps3 didn't freeze but it's the game itself. After seeing this I went to Cod5 to see if my jailbreak was messed up but that worked perfectly fine. Anyone know what's wrong with it or how to fix it? Please help me

Its probably the disk or maybe because you are hosting the lobby. My PS3 freezes often just like that and i wait a couple of mins and it works for me. Have you tried that?

Yeah when I let it sit for a couple minutes my ps3 just restarts itself :/ I also tried reinstalling the jailbreak and reinstalling comgenie but that was a no go. I tried switching accounts and it still didn't work. I'm gonna see if I can borrow my friends disc and hopefully that works. I don't know though. Do you think infinity ward banned me somehow?

No they didnt ban you. Lol if they did you wouldnt even be able to go to the MW2 party and yeh ask him it might be that.

Yeah I hope it works but that's dumb how the disc just stops loading private matches and split screen :/ back to gran turismo 5 for me

Yeh lol the disk might be scratched? And yeh GTR5 is awesome

Yeah I cleaned the disc with a micro fiber cloth and it worked! +Rep when I get on my computer for you
