(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I sent an email a couple days ago and finally I got a reply back. Here is their response. I received 2 reply's from SCEA. One from "James G" and "Anthony R"

Question
Can you get banned for custom firmware? Can you get banned for running back ups?

Answer
    Hello Alex,

Please refer to the Online Manual, Firmware agreement and the Terms of service for a complete description of the rules.

We would say we have the right to ban someone violating our stated policies.

Answer 2
    Hello Alex,

Thank you for sending Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) your e-mail.

However, asking questions about how to get banned raises a "red flag" for us. Why are you asking about how to get banned in the first place?

Regards,
Anthony R.

Answer 2 is retarded.. I wasn't asking how to get banned. LOL

Can you get banned by using the custom firmware? Can you get banned for running ... [Incident: 110115-000588]

Sony may or may not ban people, but asking customer service is pretty much as useful as asking a rock.
