In this tutorial im going to tell you guys how to setup your external HDD that doesn't show up on Backup manager Gaia Manager etc.
Go to Computer right click on your External HDD and hit format YOU WILL
LOSE ALL DATA BY FORMATTING now click format type and click format to FAT32
then towards the bottom click Quick Format once complete you should now be able use it on your
Backup Manager Etc. For those who dont see Format to FAT32 there is also a Solution for you. Go
to start menu and open CMD aka Command Prompt now type: format /FS:FAT32 X:
NOTE: Replace the X: with the Letter of the Drive. To find out which letter you need to
put there go to Computer and you should now see your External HDD and look next to it for the
letter of the Drive its on. Once you've typed that in hit enter. If done correctly it should now ask
you for a Volume that is the Name of your External HDD also found in Computer Explorer. If done
correctly it should now prompt you saying your about to format your External HDD to FAT32 now
press the letter Y and it will start. NOTE:This may take a Very Very long
time depending on how large your External HDD is... My 1TB took approx 12 hours. There is also
some Programs you can use like Swissknife, Paragon Partition etc. if these methods dont work.
Well this Tutorial is for the people who were having trouble earlier with there External HDD not
showing up on Gaia Manager and Backup Manager I really hope its clear and understandable for you
