(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); every time i download a package file, its usually named something crazy long like "dfsdfDSF43fdsFsdfdfDGsgf.pkg". My flash drive is getting full of these long random names and its difficult to figure out what is what when i go to install one on my ps3. I havnt changed any of the names because i wasnt sure if they needed to be like that for the ps3 to read them.

If i can change them, what kind of symbols am i allowed to use? should i avoid using spaces in the name?

You can change a name of a file on your PC.
Simply just click on the File, Go to Properties than go to Change name.

Or you can click on the file than click again (not double click, click once, or highlight the file than click on it) and than the file should be blue, and you can change the file name than.
