(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As I have been looking around on NGU, I noticed a few post on people wanting to get more speed out of their FTP. This is what I did.

1. Enable internet connection sharing on your wireless network adaptor. (Go through your network connections and find your wireless adapter. This will be different for Windows Xp, Vista, and 7. For some reason I had to enable it so my PC would assign an IP address.

2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your PC to your PS3.

3. Go into your network settings on your PS3 and select wired connection. (Use easy not custom)

4. Test your connection. If IP and internet test are successful that should be it. (If you do not have internet on your PC it will show a failure on the internet part but as long as you succeed on the IP address everything should be good)

5. Check your Setting and Connection Status List. Your default router should be 192.168.0.1 (May be different but thats what it showed on mine). Your IP address will change every-time you start your PS3 to 192.168.0.xxx.

6. Start your FTP and filezilla and transfer files as you would normally do.
