First of all, I'm new to this so please bare with me, and I'm sorry if this is so repetitive, and if so, please point me to a post where this is discussed. (I have searched and searched for an answer to this)

I recently received my Amazebreak v3 in the mail.

Upgraded my Amazebreak in order to downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41 (success).

After successfully downgrading my PS3 firmware from 3.55 to 3.41, I installed Backup Manager (success) and blackb0x FTP (success).

I performed the backup of MW2 onto the harddrive (success).

Now the problem starts.
I'm aware that Sony has blocked 3.41 from PSN. I downloaded a 3.55 bypass on my Amazebreak, which spoofs the Playstation from 3.41 to 3.55. Looking at the System Settings, if very well says 3.55. I try to load MW2 and it says (Update needed). I continue to update, and it says no update needed. (But will not proceed any farther).
I have tried Geohot's CFW 3.55, as well as PS3UPDAT.355Cfw.KaKaRoToKS.PUP. Neither of which took. (Jailbreak mode/Update firmware via storage device). The firmware installed and the PS3 restarted. After booting back up, the firmware is STILL 3.41.
I'm stuck!

why do you downgrade to 3.41?

Update to 3.55 and install the Kmeaw CFW, that allows you to run Backups. Use Rogero manager then.

Thanks for your reply. Honestly I thought I "had" to downgrade to 3.41 in order to install backup manager, ect. I have tried to officially update through Sony and it says "data corrupt". Advice? Or do I just need to format, back to 3.55 and do your suggestion? Will your process allow me to run blackb0x FTP?
