(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know jailbreaking my PS3 would void the warranty, but the only way for my PS3 to break for my to use my warranty would be if it got YLOD...but if I get this "suggested" console ban that could come by using the jailbreak and CFW would it mean I couldn't get a new PS3 from my warranty?

Probably, its customizing the item the way it wasn't intended for, but I doubt you will get console banned unless you are doing something really bad

i doubt it that Sony will go an a Ban spread and ban every CFW User, they will probably just come with a new firmware.

If they ban your PS3 than you will probably can't trade it in, i tried to sell my PS3 on a "Game Stop", i told them that my PS3 was banned, they just said that my PS3 is worth nothing :p

Ahh okayy thanks for the info, and that must have been heart crushing being told your PS3 was worth nothing hehe. But what do you think, should I jailbreak it and use CFW then? Because I have all the stuff but haven't done it yet...

Well yeh, you can still have fun with CFW.

And a Jailbreaked banned ps3 has some advantages.
For example you can get Free Full PS3 Games. And you can still have fun with CLs ect.

I just use my banned PS3 for jailbreaking, i cant loose anything, the PS3 is already banned :p
