Post: history file missing in etc now got new file in game _del_2011011920440400165848 ????

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); phatt 80g geo + kmeaw cfw 3.55 blackbox ftp multiman just went to check history file home user name 00000001 then etc and the history file has gone and theres a new folder in game called _del_2011011920440400165848 any1 got a clue ????

this happened to me, do you have a corrupt data on the xmb? i did and i couldnt get rid of it and it took all the remaining memory on my ps3, had to format and redo everything on my ps3 :frown:

edit: boot history is back now just checked again

I think it's just another sony fail causing odd errors.

Yes, i have just checked in the game data utility folder and found a corrupt data, can i delete through ftp?

no you cant delete through ftp, ive tried numerous times, as i have the same problem, happened when i deleted super stardust hd to free up space, it gave me an error when it was 99% done deleting

i tried and it didn't
check your system info and see if its taking up your memory. if its not don't worry about it but if you have no memory left its time to backup and format your ps3.

if you have to format i recommend doing the backup and reverting back to OFW before the format just in case
