You need to put the files in the GAMEZ folder or whatever directory your backup uses, then make the back up manager recognize the file so you can load it up from the backup manger, but just sticking it where all your backups go should do that second part for you.

so i just put the downloaded torrent in the games folder , because all i got is one file that says "Little Big Plant [ps3] torrent"

When you tried to move that file that was littlebigplanet what kind of file type was it? I've seen many in ISO so if you have that you're going to need to mount it. Search on google "How to mount ISOs" and a good program i use is Virtual Clone Drive, it's really usefull!
