(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'd like to point out that if you made/downloaded a backup, Got a black screen over and over again no matter how many times you try every possible method on this forum, I have another solution to the many already out there, If you have not done so already make sure the game you have has it's latest patch already installed BEFORE running the backup. You may pickup your patch here: You must login or register to view this content.



1.)Go to the provided link above, When there make sure the "Type" is selected as "Production"


2.)Get the "BLUS" or "BLES" or whatever BLXXXXXXX from the game that's giving you black screens.


3.)Enter your BLXXXXXXX into the "Title ID of game" area and click "FIND UPDATES"


4.)When your update is found click "DL" next to it, It will open another tab or window and your patch will be ready to be downloaded.


5.)You now need to run FTP on your PS3 Eg.)Blackbox V1.2 or some other variant, Run the FTP.


6.)Go back to that second window that opened earlier and where it says "PS3 Local IP address" enter the IP that the PS3 gives you there. The "FTP Username" can remain as "anonymous" and "FTP password" can stay blank. DO NOT CHANGE "Download name"


7.)Change your "Region" to whatever region your backup is on.


8.)Change "Type" to "Patch"


9.)Now click "Download" you will get some pop-ups from Java just say yes/accept them. Your patch should begin being transfered to your PS3.


10.)After the transfer is completed and done, Exit out of FTP on the PS3. """""""IMPORTANT MUST DO""""""""""" SHUT YOUR PS3 OFF AND THEN TURN IT BACK ON.



11.)When the PS3 is back on you will see the patch you just transfered on the XMB as an installable item, Click it and install.


12.)You are done now, This SHOULD help you out if nothing else works. Enjoy!

Srry it didn't work but another game i got working is wipeout HD Furry EUR(BCES00664) nd also works 100% using this tut

I'll try MW2 on my end and see what happens. And thanks for the update on getting another game to work.

Tried this with [Prototype](BLUS30145)and it did not work.
