Theres a simple solution.

The Problame

so most of you get the problame where you have wanted to change a patch on say MW2 you boot up and then you cant see the "bonus maps" option on the map menu, then you load the game and its not modded,

The Fix.

So what you want do is go on the XMB and go under game and then select the "Game Data" option,
Once opened Find the game that you would like to change the patch on, once found delete the Game data by Pushing Trianlge on your controller and selecting delete once deleted re-load the game and download the game patch,
Once downloaded go back onto file manager and relace the patch.

Thats it your done go back onto the game and change the patch to the desiared modded one.

I used to get this problame and I started to use Blackb0xes FTP Server, i never have to re-download the patch again.

Hmm never had this problem. I guess that would work in theory though.

Or you could just use FTP lol I think it's easier and faster with ftp anyway maybe cuz my PCs right beside my tv

yes all of your factors are good, but when people dont have a computer next to there bed/tv unlike you or me they might need to use the file manager.

if using FileManager:

select to get advanced mode

on left panel you want the target PS3 (highlight patch_mp.ff) - keep the arrow on it
on right panel press O on your patch to copy over
