(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I Just want to tell you that this work perfectly!!

1 You need to be at the official firmware 3.55 and do the jailbreak with geohots CF

2 After you jailbreak just install ftp and then return to 3.55 official firmware..
You can install whatever you want and still remains and running on official firmware.. its good for who wants to hack there save files.. Multiman remains but cant load the game.

3 Return to 3.55 Official firmware. Download the Official firmware on the sony website and copy it to your usb. You need to create a Folder Named PS3 and inside of thet Create a Folder with named UPDATE just copy inside the update the official firmware.

4 Now install the official firmware on ( RECOVERY MODE ) and its done!! You have FTP RUNNING ON OFFICIAL FIRMWARE 3.55. I hope thats this still works with newest ps3 firmware..

I tested this with gt5 savegame hack and it works!!!!

This is something that everyone should know.
I knew this would work the first time they mentioned "signed .pkg", it's so obvious.
There is no need makin' a thread about it!

Can you tell me something. You seem decently knowledgable on this topic so... Once you install the map packs, can you still change patch? I heard that you need to delete the game data (as I had to) to change patch... Don't flame please.

I don't know about him, but I didn't have to do that at all. I just replaced my patch with mossy + trotters patch and It worked fine.

I change patches with and without map packs. I don't use map packs often because it's harder to get host

Why do you have to do it on recovery mode? I just did it normally and it worked fine for me

it never let you turn back in to the official firmware if you dont update it to the recovery.. if you update it in a normal way it says (you have already in the laset fimware no need to update)
