Is the file supposed to be this large compared to the CFW? The CFW was 5mb. Idk im just wondering

First off, the 5mb file is a patch, not a CFW, secondly, if you go to Playstation.com, and at the bottom right there is a picture with a red bar, says System 3.55 update, click that....

And when I update it says to like over write it. Like 3.55 already found do you want to update again?
Something like that. Is it supposed to say that because idk. Cuz im running on CFW so should it say Install now not like replace.

Make sure its PS3 then UPDATE then the OFW is named PS3UPDAT.pup

i think if you dont even know about ofw and playstation.com you shouldnt mod your ps3

well most tuts for installin a CFW have the OFW in the tut so its easier if you already got the page open
