(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The .PUPViewer is a GUI application used to view and extract the contents of the PUP update files for the Playstation 3. At the moment it will only permit you to extract, but there also plans to simplify the creation of new .PUP files thanks to the new keys released.

Update 1:

Thanks to Adogalog, he has confirmed you CAN modify the Firmwares only after you extract them :y:.

First of all, you have to extract them, then modify them.

Secondly, if you don't know what you're doing then don't do anything unless you want to brick your PS3 :whistle:

This is basically useless for 99.99% of people on here, also if you're going to attempt stuff remember messing with dev_flash and failing will stuff up your PS3 and it can't be fixed.

You'd be foolish to try this without knowing anything, so don't.

This renders CFW completley and utterly USELESS.

There have been apps for this for over a month, chrome didn't make it either, up top it says (C) 2011 Ifcaro, ifcaro is a spanish hacker who has worked on a bunch of different things, chrome didnt even know if this worked or not... lol.
