This is a way to get ANY update for ANY game, it updates straight from the PS server itself then you just run the file you downloaded to update, you don't even need to sign into PSN!
You just go on the PS3 browser and go to You must login or register to view this content. then just put in what update your looking for, e.g. for MW2 you might put in BLES00683 if thats the right version for you. Or you could just go there download what you want and put it on PS3.
This is perfect for anyone scared of signing in on PSN but they want to update their games, this is really good for use with GT5 just as one example.
If you know the right numbers for full PSN games you can also get them too, I did it to get EveryDay shooter for free and it worked

I can confirm that this works myself as I use it for Gran Turismo 5 updates, I've been on this site for 2 years and would never post something that would harm someones PS3 or any other property. I've also never been banned for anything so yeah...
