(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); last night i left my ps3 running on geohots test.pkg and renamed it to call of duty black ops 2 playing zombies on Area 51 (lmao got alot of msg's from friends btw) and after awhile i came back to my system to realize it froze. so i restarted it last night. i fell asleep watching netflix, woke up this morning and i was signed out. so i signed back in took extra long. i decided to check my system info and my system software is no longer 3.55jb its now back to ofw 3.55. is anyone else experiencing this issue? is it even an issue? the packages installed are still on my system but im dont want to use them for fear of ruining my system. So you know...under system settings it will always say 3.55 regardless if your running Geohot CFW or any of the other released ones. If you want to return your ps3 to normal.

Go to Sony.com download the official 3.55 OFW. Put in on a flash drive. On the root of the USB make a folder called PS3 --> UPDATE ---> then put the OFW from sony's website. It should be called PS3UPDAT.PUP

Again Flash Drive...Root Folder PS3 ---> UPDATE ---> PS3UPDAT.PUP

Now just go to update firmware by usb and it should work...if not try to do it in recovery mode.

Make sure you delete all your CFW packages as well if you are worried about getting banned

Thanks for your timely reply. my concern is not returning to OFW or getting banned. i knew the risk when i installed it. i wanted to know if im the only one experiencing this or is it normal.
