I've seen a few people get this error and couldn't find a fix. So I did some file investigation and the following worked for me. Might not for you.

Steps:

1. Open up your FTP on your Playstation (I use Blackbox.)
2. Go to your computer FTP client (I use FileZilla)
3. Navigate to dev_hdd0>game>bles80608>USRDIR
4. Locate the file options_default.ini
5. Copy options_default.ini to your desktop
6. Open options_default.ini (Notepad is fine), Hit CTRL+F and search for

    load_custom_payload=0

7. Change "load_custom_payload=0" to

    load_custom_payload=1

8. Save options_default.ini
9. Copy options_default.ini back onto your Playstation with your FTP client
10. Restart your Playstation

Everything should work.


EDIT: The user "srownzu" tells me if you're still having issues run Lv2.pkg and see if it runs, if it does restart and see if it still works. If it does you're good to go.

I don't know if this was posted before, I searched and no results came up. If there is link me and I'll report the thread to a mod for it to be closed.

PS. This should work for 1.13.04.

I had the same problem. what you need to do is the steps as describes in the first post. When you restart your ps3 make sure you don't have your external hard disk connected. Then start multiman with a game inserted, now connect your external hard disk and click L3. This should load all your games from external hard disk.

Problem fixed.

ya i got that error so i went back to 1.13.00 now its working fine. ill upgrade once the problem gets fixed. hope its soon

ive been using the lv2 patcher, il ltry this changing the 1 to a 0 thou see how it goes

Try running the Lv2.pkg and see if it works.







Yeah, but the point of having the Lv2 included is so you don't have to run the patcher each and every time.

i had to run it everytime, so i changed the option file and now its sorted

I'm not the old PS3, multiMan would freeze a lot but the update has fixed it


PS store freezes sometime but that's normal, my PS3 would freeze a lot when using the internet browser before any of the hacks came along
