  • Kmeaw's CFW
  • Comgenie's Awesome File Manager
  • Gaia Manager 2.04

Before you say I copypasted, I figured out this method myself.

Note: X means any number, so dev_hddx could be 0 or 1 or 69 =D
Note: Games may take a bit to load, so be patient.

This method has been confirmed to work by me and wyatt741

Yea it worked. All i had to do is let it sit when it froze.

Games confirmed to work with this method:
  • Guitar Hero Metallica
  • Black Ops (BLUS30591)

Okay so if you just got a downloaded game in your internal/external HDD but when you try to launch it you get some gay error saying: "Eboot.bin not found" and you were like :FU::FU::FU:, follow these simple steps:

1) Creating required folders
  • Open Comgenie's File Manager
  • Go to right side, navigate to dev_hddx/game and there create a new folder with your game's ID as it's name, I'm using Black Ops as example:

    dev_hddx/game/BLUS30591

Inside of it, create another one called USRDIR, so it ends up like:

    dev_hddx/game/BLUS30591/USRDIR

2) Copying required files
  • Go to left side, navigate to dev_hddx/GAMES/YourGameID/PS3_GAME/ example:

    dev_hddx/GAMES/BLUS30591/PS3_GAME

  • Copy all files outside USRDIR folder to dev_hddx/game/YourGameID/
They're like 4 files: PARAM.SFO, ICON0.PNG, and some others I don't remember right now. If they're more than 4 don't worry just copy them all.
    So it ends up like:

    dev_hddx/game/BLUS30591/PARAM.SFO, ICON0.PNG and other files

  • Still in left side, open USRDIR folder and copy EBOOT.BIN file to dev_hddx/game/YourGameID/USRDIR, so it ends up like:

    dev_hddx/game/BLUS30591/USRDIR/Eboot.BIN

  • Ok, you're almost done, now quit Comgenie's Awesome File Manager.

3) Fixing File Permissions
  • Open Gaia Manager 2.04 with your Tray empty.
  • Once it loaded, put any Bluray disk in your tray.
  • Once it shows up, select your backuped/pirated game and hit X, it should say again "Eboot.bin not found, do you want to fix file permissions?" or something like that, hit YES.
  • Now your screen will go black for a few seconds, once done you'll be on XMB, go to Game and hit X in the Blue Disk icon, it should say the name of your backuped/pirated game instead of the disk's name that's in tray!

Enjoy!

Note: If you get a black screen, you must download and install manually the latest patch for your game.
