if you have geohots cfw 3.55 then no, you cant play backups unless you modify eboots. in order to use a back up manager your better off to switch to kmeau cfw from what i have learned from reading. i myself am waiting until a solid cfw comes out that lets you use the backup manager without screwing around too much.
